Brother-sister duo Camilla Freeman Topper and Marc Freeman created a dark collection for southern hemisphere spring/summer 2013/14.  Gold, leather and lace adorned the models on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The Australian fashion designers celebrated 10 successful years in the fashion industry and opened the Australian fashion week with their SS collection. Each piece of the collection was characterised by effortless luxe. Ellery SS 12/13 Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. Designer Kym Ellery produced an amazing collection for this season. With Lara Bingle in front row seat this collection was admired by a huge number of guests and packed room of media. The collection was made up of structured pieces, modern aesthetics and high shoulders. Metallic silver was the hero piece of the collection which truly won the hearts of all.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia presents Johanna Johnson Spring Summer 12/13 in Sydney. The ‘Luxor’ collection were art deco inspired gowns with carefully placed panel detailing and Swarovski crystals in elaborate, hand-stitched patterns cruised down the runway, with one dress made entirely of gold eliciting hoots from the audience as soon as it materialised. This amazing collection is a celebration of luxurious fabrics, jewels, beads, laces and hand finishes of old. In short, you can expect to find many of the gowns on the red carpet this season. x

An Ode to No One presented their Spring Summer 2012 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. The art deco inspired pieces were simply a work of art. Constructed graphically by photographic images of highways, buildings and architecture each piece was simple, clean and aesthetically beautiful.
